Back from Hiatus

Shoot.... I didn't even know I went on one. Oh well. First post in three months, first post of the year. You can only blog about stuff so much. Seriously, who wants to read about how many red froot loops were in your cereal bowl this morning? Nobody. So....how about reading something a little more interesting than breakfast food? Oh, by the way, Free pancakes at Ihop tomorrow. Apparently it's National Pancake Day. I probably would go if: a) I actually liked pancakes and b) the employees at the local IHOP weren't a bunch of douches. So yeah, free pancakes tomorrow if that's your thing. FYI. And look, they get free advertising from moi. But I digress....



How about the Grammys last night? I actually thought about typing up a little commentary as I was watching it last night, but....I do have a life. So here's my rundown of the presenters/performers:

• Alicia Keys - Don't have a bad thing to say about the girl, although the "duet" with Frank Sinatra was a bit cheesy


• Kanye West - How many times have I seen that exact same performance of Stronger?


• Beyonce - annoying as hell. She should have just been a back-up dancer while Tina Turner was performing.


• Solange Knowles - Why the hell was she presenting (or even invited)? Oh wait, because she's Beyonce's sister. Oh, another thing....she should just tell her momma to stop designing her and Beyonce's clothes. Lord....


• Beatles stuff- The Beatles tribute wasn't too bad. And yes, Ringo still is the cooler Beatle


• Wino - that dancing that she did while singing You Know I'm No Good and Rehab? I'm not sure during which song, but So much shaking, i thought the girl was having a seizure. Bless her heart. I thought the expression on her face when she won was sweet- kind of like "Oh wait....Did I just win?"


• Foo Fighters - That girl that won the contest to be the featured violinist? Some prize...only 2 seconds of face time on tv. Although, I take that back. I'd want to share a stage with Dave Grohl, so whatever.


• Fergie - What was up with those veneers? I suppose they weren't that bad - they could have ended up looking like when Hillary Duff first got hers. *Neigh*

Pfft...the grammy's weren't all that memorable for me this year. I'll update more on this if I remember anything else....
