On Ethics and Morality
So sad, so sad. How about this to stir up the topic of ethics in health care again, i.e. beneficence, nonmaleficense, justice, euthanasia? Giving the most critically ill patients in NO during the hurricane double doses of morphine to end their suffering because they "wouldn't have made it through the ordeal anyway." I would hate to have been in their positions.
And here's something interesting that delves into the topic of a common morality.
