Seriously, what the hell??! (Part I)
I'm talking about the gas prices. I was practically running near empty while driving to work yesterday. I went to my usual gas station, $2.74. Not too mention that there was a huge ass line for gas. Across the street, $2.79. I'm thinking, "Crazy." So I drive around town for a little while longer, $2.75-2.80-something. I usually can fill up the tank and pay around $20-22. Not yesterday...it was definitely more than that. I ended up paying $2.75/gallon. I was driving home last night after work around midnight and passed HEB. Usually, somewhat cheaper gas, right? Nope. $2.99/gallon for regular. Damn you, Katrina.
I guess the operative word here is going to be "carpool." At least I don't live in Atlanta. Last I heard, their prices were at least $5.20 a gallon. Yikes.
