Ego Boost

I love those days when I get hugs from patients/their family members and they thank me, saying I've gone above and beyond my role as a nurse in caring for the patient. It gives me the warm fuzzies. It's not just part of my job- I do it because I care. But just hearing that from them reminds me of why I went into the profession of nursing. Awesome.
