I've got the day off today and what am I doing? Absolutely nothing. Which is nice. I guess I really have nothing to write about at the moment, so um....yeah. Music?Ehh...why not. I've alway been more into the rock genre, but it's nice to see that the musical taste is evolving a bit. Here's what's been constantly repeating on my iPod that's not my usual:
- Paul Oakenfold- "Faster Kill Pussycat" - I really like this song. It's electronica, which I don't listen to much (although there was the time when I lived in Germany....). I've always liked Paul Oakenfold's stuff though. A bit surprising that it's Brittany Murphy on vocals. Who knew?! But it's Oakenfold, so it can't be that bad.
- Plain White T's - "Hey There Delilah" - Ewww, emo. Yeah, I know. But I absolutely love this song. Guilty pleasure. Every time my friends and I here the song, there's a collective "aawww...how sweet."
- Avril Lavigne - "Fall to Pieces" - Ewww, Avril. Yeah, I know. I'm not going to even bother explaining that one.
- Teddy Geiger - "For You I Will (Confidence)"
I also suggest Jonathan Butler's cover version of Bob Marley's 'No Woman, No Cry." Also, Shinehead's cover version of "Billie Jean." It's...interesting, to say the least.
