Conform... or Else

I was in a bookstore, just browsing for some new reading material and I came across a book on conformity. It was actually quite an interesting read, from a little bit of what I skimmed through. I came across Fritz Perl's "Gestalt Prayer:"

I do my thing, and you do your thing.
I am not in this world to live up to your expectations.
And you are not in this world to live up to mine.

Ain't that the damn truth. Well said, Mr. Fritz. Well said.
