Consideration

Since when was it ok to be hammering, drilling, pounding away while building a fence....at 10 pm? Seriously. What the hell?!? I work pretty damn early, so I'm in bed by 9:30. Sad, I know. The neighbors two doors down have hired some people to build a privacy fence. It's 8 pm and they're hammering and drilling away. I think to myself, "meh...whatever. They'll stop at a decent hour."Not so. I'm usually a very patient person. So 10 pm rolls around, and I'm starting to get annoyed that I'm still up and they're still pounding and drilling away. What the f, man. Don't they have any consideration? People are sleeping, or at least trying to. I was half tempted to open up my window and yell, "What the hell are you dumbasses doing??! It's 10 pm and I'm trying to get some damn sleep." Just as I was about to open my window, somebody else was yelling at them to stop or they would call the cops. I know, I end up sounding rather cranky, but damn- I don't get enough sleep as it is.Oh, you know I wouldn't do well with shows like Trading Spaces, where the carpenters sometimes work through the night. I'd probably be one of the first ones to pose a neighborhood complaint. Hey, I value my sleep....what little amount I can get.
