Buyer's Remorse and Other Randomness

Uggh. I've got a case of buyer's remorse from this weekend. I spent a couple hundred on things from the outlet stores in San Marcos and then I threw down another couple hundred for a new guitar today. My old guitar had an unfortunate accident involving an office chair and a flight of stairs recently. Anyway, I don't think I actually hit the $1,000 mark, but I know I what I spent was at least half of my paycheck for the past two weeks...and I still have my bills to pay for this month. Aye... that's what I get for shopping on impulse.

On the way back from San Marcos yesterday, I hit some traffic north of Austin. It was backed up for about two miles when I was in Round Rock. I was thinking that there was some sort of accident. But no, the further north I drove (or inched, it seemed like), I started to see the reason- the grand opening of the new Ikea. What the hell- a furniture store causes a traffic backup of two miles. Ridiculous, if you ask me.

...And speaking of ridiculous, how about that song "Fergalicious?" Ugh. I can't stand anything this woman sings.

Sorry folks, I have no clever segue to connect "Fergalicious" to Thanksgiving. I'm working Thanksgiving this year. I'd rather be working on that day than Christmas or New Years. It kind of works out, I guess. Unfortunately, most of my family are going to be working on Thanksgiving as well. We'll see how that goes.
