I was out trying to finish up some Christmas shopping this past weekend (still not done, but that's beside the point...), and I saw this little kid just sitting at a table, coloring in some book while her mom was getting some presents wrapped. I looked at that little kid and thought, man, must be nice when your biggest worry is whether or not your parents got you that ugly Bratz doll that you wanted. If that kid were to fast forward twenty years, then you've got someone worrying about work, money, bills, etc. Isn't life great?Wait, how did I turn into such a Debbie Downer?

And on that SNL reference, I did catch Saturday's episode of SNL, hosted by Justin Timberlake. I hate to admit it, but that episode was actually just a *teensy* bit funny. Come on- Bring it on down to Homelessville? "When the soup's in the cup, ma, drink it like it's hot, drink it like it's hot." And I'm not going to say anything regarding the Digital short about that "special box," other than What The... I'm still in hysterics and in shock.

And on another completely random note, yes, I had an absolutely fab birthday on Friday. Good times, good times.
