The most random thing happened to me when I arrived at work yesterday afternoon. I was standing at the nurses' station getting charge nurse-to-charge nurse report for the whole unit, and I notice our nursing director on the floor, doing what she needed to do as far as staffing, etc. Next thing you know, she's standing behind me, sniffing. I'm thinking to myself, "What is she doing?", all while having this confused look on my face. I noticed that the other nurses have this bewildered look on their faces too, wondering what was going on. Then she sniffs a couple more times, smiles, and says, "Your hair smells really good. I love how it smells. It always smells sooo good." I didn't know what to say. It was kind of like, "Thanks...I guess (awkward laugh)." And then she walked back to her office. Then someone in the background says "Wow, that must be some really good shampoo..." Random.
