Grammy Snippets

Watched the Grammy Awards last night. Just some quick thoughts on the performances:

• The Police Reunion? Ehh...it was ok. Was expecting a little bit more something.
• Mary J. Blige's performance completely killed it. I don't usually listen to much of her music, but damn, that performance blew me away
• How many more times must Shakira and Wyclef sing Hips Don't Lie at every event they're invited to? That song was so end of 2005, eh?
• I secretly liked when the Dixie Chicks performed "Not Ready to Make Nice."
• I also secretly like when Justin Timberlake sang "What Goes Around Comes Around." But I could really care less for when he sang "My Love" as a duet.
• Beyonce... *rolls eyes*
• Christina Aguilera's tribute to James Brown...wow
