(Don't) Gimme More

Let's go ahead and get this out of the way... That Britney performance at the VMAs earlier? Can you say rather anti-climactic? I've heard her new song several times prior to the performance. It's catchy, and has a lot of potential. Everyone's thinking this is the comeback. Even though I haven't been a fan since I was 20, I was still kinding hoping it would be the comeback. The first few seconds of her performance, I'm thinking, "This is it- homegirl better bring it." Well, homegirl didn't' bring it. Must have left it behind in LA with all the damn cheetos and red bull. As I'm watching it, I'm thinking, "wow...this is lame. very lame." The girl's the queen of lip-synching and she couldn't even do that right tonight. The dance moves were rather "blah." It was very half-assed. She kind of looked terrified with nervousness at times. For a second there, part of me (a very very very little part of me) felt bad for her. But now I'm over it. Gone are the days when Brit-brit ruled the pop scene. You better believe I'm gonna be going to Perezhilton.com to read all the other opinions similar to mine.
